The name Beatrice means ‘One who brings joy and happiness’. No doubt the hope of any parent who meets their daughter for the first time. And the meaning rings true for Beatrice Vio – who at the young of just 25 is an accomplished fencer, Paralympic champion and respected activist. Using her life’s story and encountered setbacks as strength, and her influence to further causes close to her heart, this overachieving athlete is an inspiration to many.

It was a delight to share the name of one of our most daring new designs with this brave young woman. The Beatrice Crossbody is a beautiful and petite crossbody that boasts many authentic and stunning details, including an asymmetric zippered pocket that elevates this simple and versatile bag. With a removable wrist strap and crossbody, as well as internal pockets and the external zip, this small soft leather bag packs a lot of punch.
